Billy Wayne Miller

Billy Wayne Miller, Sr., 73 of Robards, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 23, 2016 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family. He was born on August 8, 1942 to the late Ishmal Sr. and Frances Miller. He retired from Alcan Aluminum in 2005 after 32 years and he was a member and active deacon of Airline Baptist Church. He was also a member of Gideons International and Bailey Onton Lodge. He loved his family dearly. Billy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly. Other survivors include his 5 children and their spouses, Pam and Terry Mitchell of Henderson, Janice and Kent Wilson of Robards, Billy Jr. and Gina Miller of Henderson, Cathy and Kevin Stone of Egypt and Stephanie and Tim Pippin of Henderson; one brother, Ishmal Jr. and 4 sisters, Nellie Hughes, Lily Hortin, Peggy Moseley and Debra Elliott; 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A life celebration memorial service will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Airline Baptist Church in Henderson. Visitation will precede the service from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM.
