Billy Charles O'Dell

Billy Charles O’Dell, 71, of Henderson, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville.

Billy was born in Henderson on August 11, 1951 to the late Ivan and Alberta (Gregory) O’Dell.

He was a mechanic for Taylor’s Lawn Service and had worked at Gibbs Die Casting and AT&T, from which he retired. He was a United States Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Donna Bryant, Bonnie Hilman, Barbara Brown, Patty O’Dell, Betty O’Dell, and Eula O’Dell.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Connie O’Dell; children, April Russell (Brian), Crystal Causey, and Billy O’Dell Jr.; siblings, Tommy O’Dell, Lynn O’Dell, and Shirley Beals; five grandchildren, Hannah Causey, Brason Darden, Caitlyn Russell, Emma Russell, and Sophie Russell.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 19 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Immediately following services, military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by the American Legion Worsham Post #40 Honor Guard and Burial Detail.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, September 19 from 1 – 6 p.m.
