Billy Wayne Scott

Billy Wayne Scott, 82 of Evansville, IN and formerly of Henderson, KY passed away Thursday April 30, 2020 at Braun’s Nursing Home in Evansville. Billy was born in Onton, KY on August 30, 1937 to the late Imogene (Stanley) and James E. Scott. He was a Baptist and a US Army Veteran.  Billy was retired from Laborers and HOD Carriers Local Union. He had also belonged to the Sportsmans Club. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons; Anthony Wayne Scott and Marion E. Scott, 2 Brothers; Julius Scott and John Edward Scott, and a sister; Thelma Hobgood Durbin. Billy is survived by his wife, Zonia (Riley) Scott3 Children; Cynthia Berrong of Henderson, KY, Ronda Murphy of Evansville, IN and James Scott of Henderson, KY.  Brother, Lavaughn Scott of Gainesville, FL, 5 Grandchildren and 16 Greatgrandchildren. Private services will be held.Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.
