Billy Ray Vaughn, 82, of Henderson passed away at 7:40 PM at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Henderson to Richard Loman Vaughn Sr. and Georgia Elizabeth (Donahoo) on February 11, 1930. He was a retired electrician with L&N/CSX Railroad. He was a U.S. Army Veteran Medic and a member of Airline Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother Richard Vaughn Jr. He is survived by his wife Barbara Nell (Bevill) Vaughn 2 Daughters: Tama Lee Brown and husband Taylor of Hanson Sherry Lynn Fulton of Frankfort 2 Sons: Billy Ray Vaughn Jr. and wife Jill of Fredricksburg, Indiana Mark Allen Vaughn and wife Janie of Topeka, Kansas 2 Brothers: Eugene Vaughn of Cloverport, Indiana James Carroll Vaughn and wife Wilma of Indianapolis 1 Sister: Martha Leslie of Henderson 8 Grandchildren 5 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Monday July 23, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Edmond Bevill will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Brown, Andy Brown, Brad Brown, John Wesmoland and Brian Vaughn.
