Bobbie D Burns

Bobby D. Burns, 84, of Robards, passed away Sunday July 8, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Henderson on January 22, 1934 to the late Clyde Burns, Sr. and Lucy E. (Bugg) Burns.  Bobby was a truck driver and a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Robards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister Nancy Ella Willett and 1 brother Clyde Burns, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Lucille Pirtle Burns, 2 grandchildren Natalie Marie Pirtle, Kasey Delaine Pirtle, caregivers Nathan and Kim Pirtle all of Robards and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday July 13, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Bro. John Key will officiate.  Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8PM, Friday Noon until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Daren Emerson, Brett Jackson, Otis Walker, Ronnie Young, Justin Parker and Glen Kerr. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
