Bobbie Jo Dorris

Bobbie Jo Dorris passed away September 28, 2021, at Redbanks Nursing Center. She was born in Dixon Co. TN on August 21, 1932, to the late Robert and Christine Lee.Bobbie was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brady J. Dorris; brothers, Robert Henry Lee, Elmer Lee, Billy Lee; sisters, Lily Timm, Dorothy Lee and Ruby Cotton. She is survived by her four children, Julie Sigler (Steve) of Henderson, Sam Dorris (Sharon) of Cadiz, KY, Jeff Dorris (Kathy) of Henderson, Sherri Hill of Baskett; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Chaplain Tim Shockley officiating.  Visitation will be Friday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Baskett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Dorris, Sean Hill, Derrick Hill, Brady Buchanan, Tyler Phillips and Drew Probus. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Disease.
