Bobbie Frances Fisher

Bobbie Frances Fisher, 71, of Smith Mills, passed away Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Deaconess Hospital Henderson.  She was born in Henderson on January 20, 1950 to the late Glenn Herman and Sara (Bridges) Kimbrough.  Bobbie was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills.  Her work over the years included Continuity Director, Office Director and some on air work for both WSON and WKDQ with her last job being the Secretary for Bennett Memorial United Methodist Church. Bobbie was a Member of the Henderson Business and Professional Women’s Club where she had won Businesswoman of the Year.  She was also an involved member with the Smith Mills Lyons Club and the Smith Mills Volunteer Fire Department.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Fisher.  Survivors include 1 brother David Kimbrough of Henderson; mother-in-law Lorene Fisher of Smith Mills; brother and sister-in-laws Bruce and Melody Fisher, Theresa Fisher all of Smith Mills; cousin Patricia Hertel (Jim) of Greenwood, IN; niece Cary Hicks (David), great-nephews Fisher and Wallace Hicks and several cousins.  Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Belleview United Methodist Church in Smith Mills with Pastor Steve Hale officiating. Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Belleview United Methodist Church, PO Box 95 Smith Mills, KY 42457.
