Bobby Grant Brinkley, Sr

Bobby Grant Brinkley, Sr, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Mr. Brinkley was born September 14, 1950 in Henderson to the late Floyd and Elanda Brinkley. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan and enjoyed playing pool. He was an animal lover but above all, he loved his kids and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill and Orrin Brinkley which both served in the USMC and Dwight Brinkley which served in the US Army. Mr. Brinkley is survived by his 3 children, Bobby Brinkley, Jr (Dawn) USMC, Dave “Chad” Brinkley (Amy) USAF, Bryane Brinkley US Army; sister, Drew Williamson (Bryan); brother, Allan Brinkley (Linda); 10 grandchildren, Justin Brinkley, Robbyn Brinkley, Faith Brinkley, Gavin Herrel, Jaxon Herrel, Samantha Moore, Jake Moore, Conner Brinkley, Evan Brinkley, and Karra Brinkley; and the love of his life, Kelly Dillman. Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2022, 12:00 PM at Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 75816, Topeka, KS, 66675-8516, or any US Veteran Charity.
