Bobby Wayne Dunkerson

Bobby Wayne Dunkerson, 55, of Evansville Indiana, died on February 4, 2023, at Linda E. White Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana. He was born in Henderson, KY. to the late Gary Dunkerson of Murfreesboro, TN and Ruth (Rigdon) Dunkerson of Henderson, KY.

Bobby is survived by step-mother, Elizabeth Carolene Dunkerson of Murfreesboro TN; sister’s Tracey (Chris) Graham of Elberfeld IN, Tonya Renee Whitehead of Henderson KY, Kimberly ( Larry JR ) Vaughn of Poole Ky, Sharon Dunkerson of Murfreesboro TN, Lisa (Robby) Davidson of McMinnville TN; brothers, Maurice ( Kristy) Dunkerson of Henderson KY, Jeffrey ( Becky) Dunkerson of Princeton KY, Gene Dunkerson of Henderson KY, Brandon (April) Dunkerson of Murfreesboro TN, Marty (Beth) Dunkerson of Murfreesboro TN, Steven (Angela) Dunkerson of Smithville TN, James (Debbie) Dunkerson of Clarksville TN; he has 41 nieces and nephews, 39 great nieces and nephews.

Bobby worked as manager for Grandy’s in Henderson, Ky in the 1970’s. He played high school basketball and football in Sebree Ky. He sold books door to door in Florida. Thanks to CNA Myrtle Carter, Activities Director, Carmen Konochowa -Miles and all the nursing staff at Woodbridge nursing home. He loved traveling, watching football, he was a Colts fan, watching WWE wrestling, western shows, cop shows, going to the casinos and the fall festival. He loved making people laugh, listening to music, playing cards and bingo. He always had a smile on his face and loved having visitors. He was always kissing on the ladies. He was always in a good mood and always helping others. Bobby was a loving son, brother, and friend. Bobby will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, 2023, 12:30 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with burial to follow at Smith Mills Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
