Bobby Earl Newton, 90 of Slaughters, KY passed away Friday September 27, 2019 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace in Sebree, KY. He was born on December 3, 1928 in Webster County, KY to the late Chris Spencer and Claudia Mae (Bridwell) Newton. Bobby was a retired heavy equipment operator, farmer, US Army Korean Veteran and a 60 year member of Slaughters Masonic Lodge 347. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Edna Grace (Gibson) Newton, 2 sisters, Helen Scott and Dorothy Nance, 2 brothers Jack and Doris Newton.He is survived by 4 children; James Newton, Dixon, KY, Debra (Donnie) Cardwell of Slaughters, KY,Cleda (Doug) Barber of Benton, KY and  Ronald (Ann) Newton of Slaughters, KY. 8 Grandchildren, 13 Greatgrandchildren and 8 Great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Graveside at 3:00 PM Sunday September 29, 2019 at Slaughters Cemetery with military honors by Hopkins County Honor guard.  Reverend Joey Todd will officiate.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree.  Pallbearers will be Andy Cardwell, Neal Newton, Jon Newton, Reece Frambrough, Logan Prow and Zane Coy.
