Bobby Joseph Yates

Bobby Joseph Yates, 69 of Henderson passed away Tuesday June 3, 2014 at Methodist Hospital. He was born August 18, 1944 in Henderson to Harvey Finley Yates and Ruby (Jewell) Fritz. He was a construction worker and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded by his father, 2 brothers; Howard Yates and Aubrey Yates, 3 sisters; Dorothy Oens, Deanie Fambrough and Shirley Yates. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Carolyn Yates 3 sons: Ozzie Yates David Yates Tony Yates 1 Daughter: Gina Yates Adams all of Henderson 2 Sisters: Mary Green of Henderson Sue Nichols of California 1 Brother: David Wayne Yates of Henderson 10 Grandchildren 19 Great-grandchildren Nieces and Nephews Our Rock: Brent Durbin Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 10:30 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Bobby Yates Memorial Fund C/O Tomblinson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jaden Frye, Josh Yates, Billy Frye, Brent Durbin, Michael Yates and Drew Pleasant.
