Brenda Sue George

Brenda Sue George, 76, of Henderson, passed away on August 3, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital. Born on September 15, 1947, in Sebree, KY, she was the daughter of the late Cletis Duncan, Sr. and Gilda Duncan.

Brenda dedicated many years to the Henderson County School System as a bus driver. Her commitment and care for the children she transported were evident to all who knew her. She enjoyed camping, fishing and was an avid UK fan. Brenda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sebree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles George, Sr.

She is survived by her four children: Bryon Cowan (Donna), Sebrina Gish (Neal), Tim Cowan and Marcheta Davis (James). Brenda also leaves behind seven siblings: Raymon Duncan, Bill Duncan, Debbie Grant, Virgil Duncan, Ronnie Duncan, Cletis Duncan, Jr. and Mike Duncan; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM, Saturday until service time at the funeral home.

Pastor Neal Gish will officiate with burial in Onton Cemetery.
