Brenda Sue Pippin

Brenda Sue Pippin, 77, of Henderson, KY passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Redbanks Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by family.

Brenda was born on March 3, 1947, in Poole, KY to the late Jack and Sylvia (Stone) Shelton.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her 6 sisters, 8 brothers, a great-grandson, and a son-in-law.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 34 years, Charles “Chuck” Pippen; 6 children, Sheila Thompson (Rick) of Henderson, KY, Jackie Owens (Judy) of Dixon, KY, Vincent Owens (Carolyn) of Dixon, KY, Peggy Posey of Corydon, KY, Ray Owens (Karen) of Dixon, KY, Wayne Owens (Tracey) of Henderson, KY; sister, Freda Rigdon of Henderson, KY; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, “Wolfie”.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Bro. Mark Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Shelton Cemetery in Sebree, KY.

Visitation will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home and on Sunday from 12:00 PM until service time.
