Camellia Lee Harris

Camellia Lee (Courtney) Harris 59 of Sebree, KY passed away Monday October 9, 2023 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

She was born in Union County, KY on January, 16, 1964 to the late Theresa (Pike) Montgomery and Jerry Lee Courtney.

Camellia was formerly employed as a manager at Taco Bell in Madisonville and had worked at Colonial Terrace Nursing home in Sebree. She loved spending time with her family as well as dancing, fishing and playing Rummy. She HAD to have her coffee not just in the morning but all day long and had a laugh that was contagious.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Perry “Pete” Harris II , step father William Montgomery, sister Mary Angela Bush and brothers in law; Jeff Knighton, Anthony Kirk Harris, Derek Calbreath and Ted Richards.

Camellia is survived by 4 children; Carrie Courtney of Sebree, KY, Kelly (Chase) Overfield of Henderson, KY, Cody (Nik) Courtney of Madisonville, KY and Christopher Courtney of Sebree, KY. Step son; Micah Shane Harris of Madisonville, KY. 4 Grandchildren; Kyla Plowman, Raylee Courtney, Isla Courtney and Hudson Overfield. 4 sisters; Beatrice (Jimmy) Northcott of Madisonville, KY, Wilma Brack of Nortonville, KY, Tammy Knighton of Madisonville, KY, Vonda Gail Calbreath of Madisonville, KY and brother Jerry Lee Courtney of Sebree, KY. Step brother; Billy Montgomery of Indianapolis, IN and step sister; Angela Dawn Montgomery of Utah. She was also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday October 12, 2023 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Brother Dennis Mayfield will officiate.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.

Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Richards, Jonathon Hollowell, Dale Brasher, Michael Courtney, Chase Overfield and Austin Fuson.
