Carl "Moose" Smith

Carl “Moose” Smith, 65, of Sebree passed away Thursday February 7, 2019 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. He was born in Grape Ridge, Kentucky on August 24, 1953 to the late Clate Smith, Sr. and Effie Mae (Wilson) Smith. Carl was a farmer and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers Clate Smith, Jr., James Elmer Smith, Bobby Gene Smith, 1 sister Thelma Lee Springfield and a great-nephew Clayton Smith. Survivors include his daughter Holli Cleveland, 3 sisters Mary Joe Hayes, Wilma Smith, Esther Springfield, 1 brother Morris Smith, 1 granddaughter Gracen Cleveland all of Sebree and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday February 12, 2019 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.  Rev. Thornton Stanley will officiate.  Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Smith, Frankie Springfield, Keith Hayes, Kyle Smith, Rob Oakley and Robert Wilson. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Tomblinson Funeral Home for Carl’s funeral expenses.
