Carl Edward Snider

Carl Edward Snider, 86 of Henderson, KY passed away 10:35 PM June 10, 2012 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born November 15, 1925 in Henderson Co. to Ray and Carrie Ann (Kavanaugh) Snider. Mr. Snider had worked at Gibbs Die Casting. He was an U. S. Army veteran, a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and also a member of the American Legion Worsham Post #40. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy (Duckworth) Snider, three brothers; Charlie Snider, Ernest Snider, Owen Snider, one sister Vera Caton. He is survived by one daughter: Carrie Ann Sayles of Henderson Two sons: Paul Edward Snider of Henderson Anthony “Tony” Snider of Henderson One sister : Hellen Stevenson of Cairo 7 Grandchildren 11` Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral Mass will be 12:00 PM Noon Thursday June 14 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Anthony Shonis will officiate. Prayer service will be 5:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Visitation will be 2:00 PM-8:00 PM Wednesday June 13 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and 9:00 AM-11:00 AM Thursday June 14 at the funeral. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Stevenson, Ralph Snider, Jacob Snider, Paul Taylor Snider, Barry Burton, Scott Givens, Bill Caton and Butch Hare.
