Carolyn Joyce Deno

Carolyn Joyce Deno, 78, of Henderson passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at her home under the care of her family and St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Henderson on April 24, 1946 to the late William Thomas and Flossie Delaney (Williams) Jones

Joyce, a retiree from Carhartt, enjoyed playing cards and visiting the casino. Her family and grandchildren meant the world to her, she loved hosting Sunday family dinners and spending Wednesdays with her sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charlie, Tommy and Gene Jones; sisters Mamie Cavanaugh, Ardel Parker, Patsy LaRue and Margie Floyd.

Survivors include three children Jeff Floyd of Evansville, Larry Floyd (Stephanie) of Sebree, Angie McKee (Justin) of Henderson; four grandchildren Kullen Floyd, Katie Floyd, Kaylin McKee, Carter McKee; four sisters Janice Hill of Dixon, Geraldine Tyler (Richard), Wanda Shelton (Charlie) all of Sebree, Elsie Clark of Hopkinsville; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday July 23, 2024 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Bill Floyd officiating and burial to follow in Springdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Justin McKee, Kullen Floyd, Sonny Shelton, Scott Shelton, Gordon Tyler and Kenny Floyd. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaylin McKee, Katie Floyd and Carter McKee.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
