Carolyn Patricia Thomas

Carolyn Patricia (Chinn) Thomas, 79 of Henderson passed away December 16, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born October 14, 1942, in Evansville, IN to the late Charles and Dorothy Chinn.Carolyn was a member of Cash Creek Baptist Church.  She had worked for ADM Alliance in Henderson for 30 years as a secretary.  She had been a Sunday school teacher for many years.  Carolyn was an avid shopper and traveler, enjoyed looking for antiques. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jimmy Thomas; two children, Scott Thomas (Susan) and Tina Holaday (Bud) all of Henderson; sister; Lillie Thompson (Mike) of KS, 3 brothers; Charlie Chinn (Barbara) of Evansville, IN, Anthony Chinn (Regina) of Henderson, KY, Barry Chinn of Mt. Vernon, IN, 5 grandchildren; Christa (Josh) McGan, Dr. Carli Thomas, Taylor (Nick) Harris, Matt Thomas and Nate Thomas, 5 great grandchildren; Eva and Jagger Gilford, Emmi, Shiloh and Monroe Harris, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday December 21, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Brother Robert Duncan II will officiate. Entombment will be in Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 until 7:00 and Tuesday 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
