Catherine Jennings

Catherine Jennings, 92, of LaGrange, KY formerly of Sebree and Murray, KY passed away January 19, 2014 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation in Louisville, KY. She was born June 27, 1921 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Sam and Pearl (Childers) Webster. She was a homemaker and a member of Sebree Methodist Church. She is remembered by friends and family as patient, loving and a peacemaker. In her time at Meadowview she made many friends who treated her like she was family. She believed in God and enjoyed going to church. She and Austin spent most of their retirement years in a cabin they built near KY Lake and she said they were the happiest times of her life. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Austin Jennings, her mother and father, a brother Lawrence Webster, Sr. and a sister Nadine Wines Boyer. Survivors include a son Glendal (Linda) Jennings of Hanson, KY; three daughters Sherry (Robert) Crouse of LaGrange, KY, Teresa (Rodney) Davis of Dickenson, ND and Orlando, FL, and Reva (Mike) Atherton of Evansville, IN. Grandchildren Christopher Jennings, Brandon Jennings, Luke Jennings (and his fiancé Ashley Madison), Michelle Waters, Joseph Wooley, Samuel (Lucy) Wooley, Terra Wooley, Kristi (Matthew) Schmidt, Traci (Kent) Moore, A.J. Atherton (and his fiancé Jamie Stewart), Andrea (Andrew) Thompson and Holly (Tony) Moore. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday January 25, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with burial in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday January 24 and 10:00 AM-service time Saturday January 25 at the funeral home.
