Well, it finally happened, I died. At 67 years of age, I stopped harassing people on February 12, 2023, the same date as one of my besties. I passed peacefully at Lucy Smith King Center. I retired at 62 from Henderson County Schools. Most of my life, I worked in factories.
As most of you know, I enjoy particularly live music and especially our local WC Handy Blues Festival.
I am survived by and leave behind my sissy, Cheryl Powers and my nephew who is more like me, Richard Estes. I also leave behind my sweet little family, Lesley Liley and my former son in law Aaron Liley, beloved and beautiful grandchildren Chloe Liley, Elijah Liley, Zekiel Liley who were my world. My grandkids are the light of my life and who I will miss the most.
My father, James A Williams, my mother, Vicki Darr, my brothers Robert Williams, Raymond Hockersmith, all preceded me in death.
I am also survived by my Uncle Paul Buck of Indianapolis and my 12-pound mean chihuahua, Reese, who I loved dearly and ultimately betrayed me in the end.
Please come by to say farewell and celebrate my unique trip through life. Two tickets for party favors for everyone coming through the door. The party will be held in Henderson Ky at a later date. Lesley Liley, Cheryl Powers or Allen Butler will have instructions on how to notify everyone. Be ready to hear all my favorite songs (including my funeral playlist) tell stories and have fun on me!
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2023, 11:00 AM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Bro. Allen Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023, 3:00-7:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.
