Charlene (Parker) Miser, 72 of Slaughters passed away November 19, 2020 at her residence. She was born August 27,1948 in Evansville, IN to the late Doris and Betty Parker. Charlene was a member of Sebree First Christian Church and had worked several years in the dietary department at Colonial Terrace. She loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors and enjoyed the summertime and softball. She had volunteered at Slaughters School for many years. Charlene was a practical joker and known for her sense of humor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Raymond Miser.She is survived by her three children, Henry Clay Miser (Daniel Parker) of Sterling, VA, Michelle Denise Orange (Eric) of Slaughters, KY, Michael David Miser (Laura) of Sebree, KY; five grandchildren, Collin and Justin Orange, Layla Miser, Gill Miser and Spencer Miser; one sister, Shirley Jenkins (James) of Slaughters, KY, David Parker (Sherry) of VA, Richard Parker (Robin) of Sebree, KY, Bruce Parker (Kris) of Onton, KY and Robert Parker (Karen) of Sebree; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nathan Parker, Christopher Parker, Jennifer Johnson, Timmy Parker, Layla Miser and Gill Miser.Honorary pallbearers will be Collin Orange and Justin Orange. Due to the recent mandates set forth by the governor regarding Covid restrictions, all services will be private. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (NPCF), P. O. BOx 1848, Longmont, CO 80502. Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.
