Charles Denton Bingemer, 87, of Corydon passed away June 27, 2012 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born September 9, 1924 in Henderson County to the late Albert and Bertha Elizabeth (Denton) Bingemer. He was a farmer, a member of Cairo United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Men, a 32nd degree Mason, belonged to Lodge #9, and a board member of the Cairo Volunteer fire department. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ellen (Hyde) Bingemer of Corydon, KY 5 children: Debra Fewell and her husband Steve of Woodbridge, VA Kathy Duncan and her husband Bill of Cairo, KY Sherry Hedgespeth and her husband Wayne of Greensburg, KY Lynda Willett of Cairo, KY Bill Anderson and his wife Angie of Cairo, KY 2 Brothers: Otis Bingemer of Newburgh, IN Maurice Bingemer of Henderson, KY 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday June 30, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Rev. Mark Jones and Rev. Bill Anderson officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Friday and 11:00 AM-until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Charles Hedgespeth, Jake Hedgespeth, Brent Anderson, Dylan Townsend, Will Duncan, Thadis Willett, Jared Schutt, and Matt Vanderpool. Honorary Pallbearers will be Otis Bingemer and Maurice Bingemer. Contributions may be made to Cairo United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
