Charles F. Cavanaugh, 92, of Corydon, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Hopkins County, Kentucky on September 11, 1928 to the late Frank and Mabel Mae (Miller) Cavanaugh. Charles was a truck driver and enjoyed fishing, gardening and reading his Bible. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Smith Mills and was an Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lena Earle Cavanaugh, infant son Daniel Joel Cavanaugh and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include 4 children; Charles E. Cavanaugh (Pam) of Henderson, Joetta Glassco (Paul) of Cairo, Toni Hart (David) of Henderson, James Cavanaugh (Paula) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Grace Point Church in Henderson. Bro. Mac Wells and Charles E. Cavanaugh will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM at Grace Point Church and Saturday 10:00 AM until service time at the church. A graveside service will also be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Daniel Cavanaugh, Micah Cavanaugh, Adam Glassco, Nicholas Hart, Ethan Evans and Brian Weaver.
