Charles Richard Downs Jr.

Charles Richard Downs, Jr., 49, of Slaughters, Ky. passed away Friday, May 4, 2018. He was born September 30, 1968 in Henderson to Charles Richard Sr. and the late Eva Lou (Sutton) Downs. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joey Downs. He is survived by his father, Charles Richard Downs Sr. of Slaughters; son, Charles “Trey” Downs III of Slaughters; three brothers, Ricky Downs (Sylvia) of Henderson, Christopher “Cooter” Downs of Slaughters, and Richard Sutton (Lillie) of Slaughters; and two sisters, Elizabeth Downs (David) of Slaughters and Charlotte Brown (Larry) of Henderson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, Ky. Burial will follow at Zion Brick Missionary Church Cemetery in Slaughters. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree.
