Charles B. Fickle

Charles B. Fickle, 84 of Henderson, Kentucky died Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Lucy Smith King Care Center.  He was born April 2, 1937 in Wayne, Nebraska to Ivan Fickle and Helen (Thompson) Fickle.  He served in the United States Navy from 1955-1963. Charles was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Louise Fickle, sisters, Peggy Fickle, Dolly Noe, and Nancy Landanger, brothers, Jack Fickle, Babe Fickle, and James Fickle.  He is survived by his three sons, Charles T. Fickle of Spanish Springs, Nevada, Thane D. Fickle of Florence, Kentucky, and Jonathan T. (Sandra) Fickle of Evansville, Indiana; two sisters, Marcella Storey and Pat O’Connell; one brother, Richard (Jackie) Fickle; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with funeral services to immediately follow on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Kevin Waters will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date.
