Charles Rudy Howard

Charles Rudy Howard, 80, of Henderson, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

Charles was born in Comer, Kentucky, to the late Charles Samuel and Arta Louise (Phillips) Howard. He spent his life dedicated to his family and community as a farmer and a bus driver for the City of Henderson GRITS. He was a proud member and past master of Henderson Lodge #958 and past master and secretary of Vienna Lodge #423. Charles was also a devoted member of the Hadi Shrine Temple.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Sue Lowery.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Howard; his children Stacy Ann Head (Randy), Charles S. Howard II (Andrea), and Morrisa Ann Costanzo (Rev. Mike); sister Kristina Underwood (Robin); cousins Jerry Howard, Dave Howard; his grandchildren Whitney Matthews (Tyler), Ben Head (Zachary), Mattie Howard, Molly Howard, Lige Howard, Mark Costanzo (Britney), Matt Costanzo (Kaylee), and Nick Costanzo (Alicia); as well as seven cherished great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Masonic services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

Charles' life was marked by his hard work, dedication, and the love he shared with family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
