Charles (Chick) Kuder, 93, of Henderson, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at home. He was born in Womack, IL on June 19, 1928 to the late George and Elma (Driskell) Kuder. He was retired from Halliburton and Scott Lumber and was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge. He coached little league baseball for several years and was a skilled guitar player, having played in a band in his younger years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing. He loved and was a member of Chapel Hill Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Peggy Hout Kuder, who passed away on May 24, 2021; siblings, George, Harold, Gerald, Betty, Louise, Gladys, and Leona. He is survived by sons, Monte Kuder and Tony Kuder (Kristie); grandchildren, Lacy Hagan (Eric), Lance Kuder (Vanessa), and Dylan Kuder; great grandchildren, Tanner and Reed Hagan; siblings, Jack, Scotty, Paul, David, and Rosie. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Henderson with Bro. Mike Snyder officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 10 from 9 – 11 a.m. at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice and/or Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
