Charles Robert Mattingly

Charles Robert Mattingly, 83 of Henderson passed away March 31, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Henderson Co. January 25, 1931 to James A. and Mary E. (Shively) Mattingly. He was a farmer and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife; Joyce Mattingly, daughter; Virginia Yarborough,three brothers; Albert Mattingly, Joseph R. Mattingly, John M. Mattingly and one sister Catherine Westerman. He is survived by his wife: Marcelle Puckett Mattingly 6 children: Allen Puckett and his wife Sue of Henderson, KY John Puckett and his wife Connie of Henderson, KY Michael Puckett of Henderson, KY Sherri Ledbetter of Robards, KY Lisa Tyler and her husband Skip of Henderson, KY Nancy Van and her husband Pete of Sullivan, KY 1 sister: Gertrude Moore of Henderson 1 brother: Richard Mattingly of Henderson 14 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews Services will be will 10:00 AM Friday, April 4 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 PM Thursday and Friday 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Prayers will be at 6:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
