Charles "Opal" Randall Cummings

Charles “Opal” R. Cummings, 55, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown. He was born in Henderson on February 18, 1966 to the Charles L. and Karen Darlene (Gibson) Cummings. He was an auto body painter at Demplewolf and member of Fairview Baptist Church in Bluff City. He collected antique radios and was a ham operator. He was an avid deer hunter and one of a kind, special, loving person. He loved music and could play several instruments. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen D. Cummings. Survivors include his wife of 32 years Sam Cummings; children, Bradley Cummmings (Jessica) of Henderson and Jon-Michael Cummings (Elizabeth) of Owensboro; father, Charles L. Cummings of Henderson; sister, Shelley Owens of Henderson; three grandchildren, Holly, Ethan, and Alina; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is entrusted with arrangements.
