Charles Edmond Sellars

Charles Edmond Sellars, 82 of Henderson passed away October 18, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born August 5, 1933 in Henderson to Earl C. and Bertha (Overfield) Sellars. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church, U.S. Army Veteran and had been a door greeter at WalMart. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bruce Sellars; 2 brothers, Jim Sellars and Arnold Sellars, sister, Marguerite Hazelwood. He survived by his wife of 57 years Sondra Sellars Son: Rodney Sellars of Henderson Daughter and son-in-law: Angelia and John Phillip Morton, Jr. of Clermont, FL Daughter-in-law: Geraldine Sellars of Henderson Brother: John Sellars of Henderson 5 grandchildren: Amy Daugherty, David Briscoe, Jessica Sellars, Christian Morton and Nicholas Morton. 8 great grandchildren Nieces and nephews Services will be 1:00 PM, October 23 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Todd Linn will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00PM Thursday and 11:00AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
