Charles Joseph Shofner

Charles Joseph Shofner, 73 of Henderson, KY passed away Friday September 29, 2017 at Deaconess Gateway Medical Center in Newburgh, IN. He was born in Morganfield, KY on February 2, 1944. Charles was a farmer and of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother Rita King. Survivors include 3 children;  Jeffrey S. Shofner and wife Donna of Uniontown, KY,  Roger J. Shofner and wife Deborah of Providence, KY ,  Richard Shofner and wife Amy of Henderson, KY,    7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren Services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday October 4th at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Bro. Alan Ramsey will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church.
