Charles Andrew "Charlie" Watson

Charles Andrew "Charlie" Watson, 90 of Smith Mills, KY passed away Friday December 30, 2016 at Red Banks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. He was born in Henderson, KY on May 9, 1926 to the late Larkin and Rosie Watson. Charlie was retired from the Henderson County Road Department, was a farmer and an Army Veteran. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Betty J. Watson in 2015, 3 brothers; Thomas "Tucker" Larkin Watson, Homer Lloyd Watson, Lorn Ray Watson. He is survived by 2 daughters; Sheila (Arnold) Wilson and Donna (Jeff) Stebbins both of Henderson, KY. Brother; Dorris Watson of Henderson, KY, Sister; Nellie Watson Young of Henderson, KY. 4 Grandchildren; Arnie Wilson, Crissy Crowe, Andrew Turner and Bradley Blair. 7 Great grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday January 3, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Rev. Keith Griffin and Rev. Arnie Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery with full military rites by American Legion Worsham Post 40. Visitation will be Monday January 2nd from 4:00 until 8:00 and Wednesday January 3rd from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.
