Charlotte Ann Market

Charlotte Ann Market, 78, of Sebree, Kentucky, passed away August 28, 2020 with family at her side.  She was born to the late Charlie and Louise Roland, January 14, 1942 in Morganfield, KY as the oldest of five sisters (Florence, Stella, Edd Marie, and Mary).  Ann graduated from Morganfield High School in 1960. She married the love of her life, the late Leo F. Market, Jr on June 21, 1962, in Southern Indiana.   They quickly established a family of 4 boys, and moved to Sebree in 1976 where the family flourished and she chose to remain through her death.  She is predeceased by her husband Lee, her youngest son Dwayne, both parents, and one sister Florence Glazebrook. Ann is survived by three sons and their families:  Bryan and Darlene of Murphy, TX; Kevin and Cheryl of Jackson, MO, and; Terry and April of Sebree, KY.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren:  Angie, Becca, Lee, Jonathan, Nicole, Raymond and Michael and 5 great-grandchildren.  Nieces and Nephews also survive.  Ann set about her life making sure that her children would be successful in their individual ways.  She accomplished that goal.  Her children have adopted the same philosophy for their own families.  She retired in 2006 from the Webster County Board of Education transportation office as the secretary after a 28 year span of employment.  Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 1, 2020 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, KY.  Father Freddie Byrd will officiate.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.  Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
