Cheryl Jean Evans Cheryl Jean Evans age 66 of Madisonville passed away t 7:40 p.m. Monday 09-24-12 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Evansville. She was born July 7, 1946 in Hopkins County to the late George W. and Doris Mae Wyatt Evans. She was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Madisonville and she worked as a medical transcriptionist for Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. She is survived by one sister, Jeanette Gail Box of Madisonville, one nephew William “Bill” Box of Madisonville, one niece Carrie Duncan of Enterprise, Alabama, two great nieces Olivia Box and Madeline Box, one great nephew Liam Box all of Madisonville, two uncles and numerous cousins. There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington. There will be no burial. Her visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at the funeral home. Instead of flowers donations may be made to the Hopkins County Humane Society or any other Humane Society.
