Chris Byrd

Christopher W. Byrd, 61, of Henderson, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Chris was born in Henderson to Chester W. and Gertrude (Clark) Byrd.

He was of the Catholic faith and was employed by Big Rivers Electric. Christopher enjoyed tinkering with anything he could fix or improve and cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester W. Byrd, and his sister, Stacie Brown.

Christopher is survived by his son, Cody W. Byrd; his mother, Gertrude Byrd; his niece, Whitney Wilson; and his nephew, Cameron W. Brown.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
