Christine Butler

Reba “Christine” (Sanders) Butler, 73, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Home.

She was born in Maunie, IL on June 16, 1949 to the late John and Mary (Frymire) Sanders.

Christine was a seamstress who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant twin brother; an infant sister; sister, Faye Shepherd; and brother, Arnold Sanders.

Survivors include three children, Teresa Bridgeman (Josh); Deonna Crochet (Louis); and Leslie Wells (Jack); grandchildren, Josh Crochet (Courtney), Jeremy Crochet (Lanie), Jacob Crochet, Alexis Wells, Raley Wells, Mason Bridgeman, Cooper Bridgeman, and Josie Bridgeman; great grandchildren, Shiloh Crochet, Asher Crochet, Porter Crochet, Emberly Crochet, Lincoln Crochet, and Carlee Crochet; nieces and nephews.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson are handling arrangements.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Redbanks Skilled Nursing Home, her pastor, Jerry Wright, and St. Anthony’s Hospice for their loving care.
