Clara Mae Holder

Clara Carter Holder, 85, a loving Mother and Grandmother, went to be with the Lord in his loving arms with her family by her side on Thursday July 14, 2016. She was born in Henderson on December 9, 1930. She was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Clara was preceded in death by her mother Goldie Liles, 1st husband Ernest D. Carter, 2nd husband Howard J. Holder and 1 son David Carter. Survivors include 6 children: Daniel Carter of Henderson, Darryl Carter and wife Lori of Hebbardsville, Debbie Williams and husband Russell of Reed, Delores Hall and husband Mark of Henderson, Janice Holder Utley and husband Jimmy of Henderson, Brenda Holder Hobgood and husband Freddie of Bremen, KY, 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and cousins. Services will be 12:00 PM Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pastors James C. Allen and Kevin Crase will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday 4-8PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Faith Assembly Church, 1715 Old Potters Ln.
