Clarence H. "Muff" Glenn

Clarence H. “Muff” Glenn, 71, of Henderson, KY, passed away Friday, August 19,2022 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Evansville to the late Bishop and Juanita (Simms) Glenn on March 26, 1951. Clarence was raised in Sebree and graduated from Webster County High School. He retired from ALCAN in 2006 after 33 years of employment where he helped build the plant and then worked there when completed. Clarence was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in Henderson. He was a member of United Steel Workers 9443-00. He loved to build things from the ground up. He was very active and enjoyed gardening, cooking, walking, riding bikes, hiking, collecting antiques, but above all his greatest joy was his grandkids. In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his brothers, Bishop “JR” Glenn, Jimmy Glenn; brother in law, Art “Shag” Sallee and step daughter, Peachie Trent. Clarence is survived by his two children, Cammie Hargitt (Jason), Charles “Chad” Bishop Glenn; sister, Alice Sallee; grandchildren, Christopher Trent (Katie), Aaliyah Glenn (Micheil Carr), Daelyn Glenn (Thomas Travelstead), Corbin and Lane Glenn, Caeson Hargitt, Cassel Hargitt; and two great grandchildren, Alexander Carr and Elijah Trent. Graveside services will be Sunday, August 21, 2022, 1:00 PM at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E.
