Clarence Vernon “C.V” Langston, 93 of Henderson passed away May 23, 2022, at Lucy Smith King Care Center surrounded by his loving family. Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Alice Roberson Langston; his daughter Laura Johnson (Charles); grandsons Brenton Langston (Molly) and Spencer Johnson; one granddaughter, Kelsey Minton (Alex); one step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Ernspiker (Eric); two step-great grandsons, Noah Van Dolah and Wickliffe Van Dolah; one great granddaughter, Theadora Langston. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson and was U.S Army Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Zenith Electronics in Evansville after 38 years. He was a graduate of Barret Manuel Training High School and attended Evansville College. Clarence liked to travel and play golf. He was a talented artist and furniture maker. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 26 at Henderson’s First Baptist Church with visitation from noon until service time. Rev. Alan Chamness and Rev. Sam Hinkson will officiate. Burial will follow in Fernwood Cemetery where American Legion Worsham Post #40 will conduct military honors. Pallbearers will be Spencer Johnson, Mark Hargis, Wayne Jenkins, Carol Buchanan, Bob Harrison, and Steve Schmelzer. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to Henderson’s First Baptist Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
