Clinton Floyd, Jr.

Clinton Floyd Jr., 68, of Henderson, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway in Evansville. He was born in Henderson on October 20, 1953 to the late Clinton Sr. and Mary (Timberlake) Floyd. He was an operator in the oil field and was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved working, starting at the age of 16. He was a good father, husband, and friend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Kirtley. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda (Powell) Floyd; children, Jennifer Winstead (Kevin) of Henderson, Steven E. Floyd (Toni) of Spottsville, and Lisa Floyd of Providence; three grandchildren, Anna Dinner, Dakota Floyd, and Cheyenne Floyd; two great grandchildren, Aydon Scheers and Bellamy Floyd; siblings, Roger Timberlake, Dalton Floyd, Nancy Harmon, and Elaine Majors, all of Henderson; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Thursday, March 10 from 2-6 p.m. and on Friday, March 11 from 9-11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 11 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Larry McBride officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
