Clyde Edward Dailey, 79 of Charlestown, Indiana passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at the home of his daughter in Smith Mills. He was born June 22, 1934 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to the late Albert and Annie (Hultz) Dailey. Clyde was an US Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nancy (Higgs) Dailey, sisters; Violet Batts, Gladys Conder, Susie Bethel, Imogene Dean, and a brother Charles Dailey. He is survived by three daughters, Virginia Dailey Page of Smith Mills, Patricia Dailey Hay and husband George of Smith Mills, and Brenda Dailey Overfield and husband Chris of Charlestown, Indiana. 1 sister: Lula David of Beaverville, Illinois 9 Grandchildren: Joe Bean of Oakland City, Indiana Jason Bean of Lexington, Kentucky Julie Bean Whitledge of Evansville, Indiana Jessica Page Arnett of Smith Mills Harold Riggs of Henderson Tammy Riggs Miller of Henderson Tony Beasley of Spottsville Christopher Overfield, Jr of Charlestown, Indiana Tera Overfield Wyatt of Bellevue, Nebraska 15 Great Grandchildren: Tyler Bean, Sam Bean, Jason Bean, Gabe Bean, Trey Large, Colleen Bean, Ruthy Whitledge, Camrin Page, Carsyn Arnett, Jase Sanderson, Owen Sanderson, Logan Riggs, Joseph Riggs, Madison Beasley and Brydon Beasley. 2 great great grandchildren: Kynleigh Bean and Gunner Bean Nieces and nephews Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday March 18, 2014, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Dr. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 until the 1:00 PM service time. Military services will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail and Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Joe Bean, Jason Bean, Harold Riggs, Tony Beasley, Matthew Clark, Christopher Overfield, Jr., Sam Bean Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
