Coleen (Mcdaniel) Lambdin

Coleen (McDaniel) Lambdin, 89, of Richmond Kentucky, formerly of Sebree, passed away Sunday December 6, 2020 at her home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice.  She was born in Beech Grove on February 9, 1931 to the late Herman Ulan and Ioma Gladys (Sutton) McDaniel.  Coleen was a Bookkeeper at Sebree Deposit Bank and an active member of Sebree First Baptist Church where she was in the choir and taught Sunday School.  She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution.  She enjoyed reading, needlework and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hart Lambdin, Jr., 1 sister Virginia Rudy, 2 brothers Gene McDaniel and C.W. McDaniel. Survivors include 2 children: Kip Lambdin and wife Debora and Tamara Lambdin-Abney and husband Marshall) all of Richmond, 2 sisters Alice Goss of Sherwood, Arkansas, Anna Marie Pinkston of Calhoun, bro-in-law Edward Lambdin of Sebree, 4 grandchildren Ian Abney of Berea, KY, Keegan Abney, of Cleveland, OH, Kristin Bean of Henderson, Breena Lambdin of Washington, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Services will be private with Dr. Bob Hardison Officiating.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.  Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel is handling arrangements.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Compassionate Care Hospice, 208 Kidd Dr. Berea, KY 40403.
