Cora Elizabeth (Bowman) Sandefur

Cora Elizabeth (Bowman) Sandefur, 85, of Henderson passed away Friday January 20, 2017 at 1:10AM at Redbanks Nursing Home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice. She was born in Henderson on June 29, 1931 to Sherman and Rosa Mae (Davis) Bowman. Cora was a homemaker and a member of the Eastern Star Henderson Chapter #129. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roy I. Sandefur, 2 sons Sherman Lane Sandefur and Roy Steven Sandefur. Survivors include 1 daughter Janice Sandefur of Henderson, 1 son Byron Keith Sandefur and wife Terry of Pacific, Missouri, 2 grandchildren Melissa Lander and husband Kyle of Sterling, Colorado, Christopher Lane Sandefur and wife Nicole of Salina, Kansas, 2 great-grandchildren Kolby and Harper Lander, 1 brother Sherman Bowman of Henderson, niece and nephews. Visitation will be Monday January 23, 2017 from 6-8PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Services will be private. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Airline Baptist Church or St. Anthony's Hospice.
