Corey Christopher Williams, age 30, of Henderson, passed away in a automobile accident on Sunday, March 24, 2024, in his hometown.
Born in Evansville, Indiana, Corey was the beloved son of Scott C. Williams and Sieglinde (Conner) Williams. He was a cherished member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where his spirit and warmth touched the hearts of many.
Corey had a zest for life and found joy in the simple pleasures. He had a passion for the outdoors, particularly enjoying hunting and fishing adventures. His infectious laughter and quick wit endeared him to all who knew him. Corey was dedicated to his work and found fulfillment in his roles at RAC Services of Kentucky and Woodchuck Tree Services and also serving his community.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Kay Williams, great grandparents Charles and Helen Blanton, great grandparents Lillie and Loyd Conner. Corey leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Corey is survived by his beloved son, Keighan Scott Williams, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Scott and Sieglinde Williams (Paul Claspell), his adoring brother, Drake Christopher Williams, and his loving grandparents, Winnie and Eugene Conner. Corey will be deeply missed by his aunts, Melinda Luntsford (Lee), Misty Fleming, uncle Karl Williams (Jennifer), and his dear cousins.
Funeral services to honor Corey's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 29, 2024, with Brother Gary Shoulders officiating. The service will take place at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with burial following in the serene grounds of Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2024, and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Honoring Corey as pallbearers will be Drake C. Williams, Karl Williams, Zack Williams, Austin Duncan, Max Baker, and Thomas Fleming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Field and Main Bank for the benefit of Keighan S. Williams, a testament to Corey's enduring love for his son and his commitment to providing for his future.
