Crystal Gail (Carter) Halstead, 49 of Henderson passed away May 3, 2022 at her residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born May 23,1972 in Henderson to Allen Ray Carter, Sr. and Katherine Lucille (Gish) Varble. Crystal was preceded in death by her nephew, Shaun Michael Gish. She is survived by her daughter, Alison Elizabeth Halstead; two fur babies, Tyra Banks and Hank; mother, Lucille Varble (Mack) of Henderson; father, Ray Carter (Della) of Sebree; siblings, Barry Gish of Henderson, Robin Meadows and Chris Meadows of Dickson TN, Allen Carter, Jr. of Henderson and Jama Robison and Shawn Armstrong of Boonville, IN; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice, Fair Haven Foundation or IU Health Simon Cancer Center. Envelopes will be provided.
