Curtis Lee Posey

Curtis Lee Posey, 53 passed away June 8, 2016 at Methodist Hospital. He was born July 9, 1962 in Alabama to Lonnie B. Posey and Frances (Smith) Liggett . He worked for the City of Henderson at the Water Department. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Peggy Posey, mother and step father; Frances and Joe Liggett of Henderson, step mother; Ruth Posey of Corydon, daughter Christy Posey and fianc Ely Chandler of Corydon,Two sisters; Kathleen Smith and husband Ron of Smithton, PA and Jennie Posey of Henderson, step sister; Kathy Frederick and husband Johnny of Morganfield, step brother; Vernon Stone of Corydon, Mother in law; Brenda Pippin and husband Chuck of Henderson; Grandmother; Martha Smith of Jackson, SC, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, beloved dogs scooter and lil' man. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pastor Mark Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Corydon Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 PM-6:00 PM Saturday and 10:00 AM until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Vernon Stone, Ely Chander, Ron Bentley, Steve Bender, Ron Smith and Randy Grimm. Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Posey. Expressions of sympathy make take the form of contributions to American Diabetes.
