Daisy Lee Stone

Daisy Lee (Wilkerson) Stone, 94, of Henderson passed away Saturday January 26, 2013 at 10:28 AM at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson. She was born in Zion, Kentucky to James Monroe and Eliza (Sheets) Wilkerson on October 5, 1918. She was a homemaker and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elvis Stone, Daughter Dorothy Sauer, Grandson Ray Blanford, 2 Great-granddaughters Chasity Blanford and Cassidy Blanford, Brother Jimmy Wilkerson and sister Inez Cardwell. She is survived by 1 Daughter: Lottie Blanford of Henderson 1 Son: Gene Stone and wife Carolyn of Henderson 10 Grandchildren 17 Great-grandchildren 4 Great-great-grandchildren Cousin: Elizabeth Oglesby Several Nieces and Nephews Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Michael Foraker will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 4-8 PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice. Pallbearers will be Charlie Turner, Dwight Blanford, Phillip Blanford, Tony Sauer, Matt Sauer and Scott Sauer.
