Damein Ferrell Mccarty

Damein Ferrell McCarty, 13, of Campbell Hill, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at 8:27am. He was born September 26, 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of Tara McCarty. Damein was in the 7th Grade at Trico Junior High School. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. Damein played for the Southern Illinois Bears Basketball Team, the Murphysboro Junior Football League and basketball at Trico Junior High School. He is survived by his parents: Tara McCarty and Darren Reuscher of, Campbell Hill, IL; 2 brothers: Sebastein McCarty and Xander McCarty of Campbell Hill; 1 sister, Loralei Reuscher of Campbell Hill; Grandparents, Terry McCarty of Madisonville, KY and Margie Ladd of Madisonville, KY; Adopted Grandparents, Gary and Kim Reuscher of Campbell Hill; 1 Uncle, Carlos McCarty of Madisonville, KY; Step Aunt, Amanda (Nathan) Duesning of Chicago, IL; 5 Great Aunts, Betty (Jimmie) Austin of Madisonville, KY, Janet (Stanley) Tapp of Sebree, KY, Judy (Greg) Shaw of Arnold, Maryland, Bonnie (John) Gallagher of Cameron, NC, and Connie Hunt of Irving, TX; Godparents, Denise Young and Clint Young of Ava, IL and Step Great Grandma, Donna Young of Cutler, IL. Damein was preceded in death by his Great Uncle Frazier McCarty. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Slaughters, KY with the Rev. Matt Kamprath officiating. Burial will follow at the Zion Brick Church Cemetery in Slaughters, KY. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday from 1 to 3pm at the Tomblinson Funeral Home in Slaughters, KY .Memorials may be made to a Memorial established in Damein's name at a later date.
