Daniel E Banks Jr.

Daniel E. Banks Jr., 72 of Henderson passed away Friday May 29, 2020 at Methodist Hospital. Daniel was born in Henderson to the late Daniel E. Sr. and Amon (Walker) Banks.   He was a US Airforce veteran and a member of the American Legion Worsham Post #40. Dan was on the burial detail and was also responsible for the crosses being displayed at the park honoring our local veterans. He was also a member for over 40 years with Local 12 crane operators union. He was the most requested operator in LA area. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Dena Ladon Owens. Daniel is survived by his wife Carol “Louie” Banks; his step daughter Kacy Rafferty (Ryan); his sisters Marie Foster (Kenneth) and Carolyn Staser (Bill) and his grandchildren Whitley, Rilegh, Braeden and Hunter. There will be a private service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
