Daniel Sylvester "Boone" Brown

Daniel Sylvester “Boone” Brown, 40, of Henderson passed away Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the University of Louisville Jewish Hospital. Daniel was born March 9, 1982 to Daniel S. Brown Sr. and Peggy Waunita Yerby. Daniel was often called the “Gentle Giant”, but as we all know he was only 5’4’. He was the most genuine and caring man you would ever meet, need a ride, he was there, too drunk to drive, he was there, need a laugh, he would make you laugh, need a shoulder to cry he had one to give. Needed a beautiful voice, he would sing you a tune. His life was too short, and he was taken too early, and he will always be loved and missed. Daniel’s ultimate priority was to protect and provide for April and those boys, which includes working multiple jobs, getting no sleep, and still made quality time for them. He was the best daddy and could calm any situation just by saying “Knock it OFF Boys”. Daniel played football at Rappahannock High School in Virginia and attended Culinary Arts School in Pittsburg, Virginia and Lorraine’s Hair Academy and Message. In St. Peterburg Fl. He had previously attended Family Fellowship in St. Petersburg, Florida where he enjoyed taking care of the babies in the nursery at the church. Daniel also worked as Lab tech at Azteca Milling in Henderson. Survivors include his wife of 9 years April Brown; parents Daniel Brown Sr. and Peggy Yerby; four children Austin Georges, Tristyn Brown, Gavyn Brown, Linkyn Brown; one sister Shatema Brown; one brother Jonathan Brown; mother-in-law Lisa Dooley; fur baby Gracie and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday July 13, 2022 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-8PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
